• It is essential to test the Stomibelt® binder beforehand
• Visualise the exact placement of the stoma and define it precisely using an hypoallergenic felt pen on the run-resistant front panel
• A slightly oval outline should be drawn vertically. The opening will become perfectly circular when the binder is finally worn
• The medical team will make sure to cut the opening, following the previously drawn outline, to allow the passage of the bag 
• The patient stands up
• Place the binder around the patient making sure the opening is perfectly positioned over the stoma
There should be sufficient pressure around the waist without causing discomfort to the patient (Adjust if necessary with the aid of three-piece grip)
• Always pay attention to adjust the Stomibelt® abdominal pressure during use so that it fits the patient shape
